Project “Stoorm”

The “Stoorm” is a fully self designed, modeled and textured futuristic driving vehicle. In the simulation it is possible to drive through a virtual scene to show different aspects of driving and driver assistance systems.

The simulation of the car computer with navigation, media control, etc is a discrete 2D simulation (in this case WPF) which is embedded into the 3D simulation. In this way you get a fully interactive visualization of the prototype.

The implementation of the Stoorm out of the first idea up to the finished virtual prototype was completely made by Virtence. The surroundings and the Stoorm as well were modeled by using Nurbs modeling techniques.

After importing the finished CAD files the shadering and texturing was made in Dione.
